Arabella are an exciting young prospect that has recently sprung from the campus of Coventry University. Their self-described style of Dirty Blues Pop aims to harmoniously combine the raw passion that is the Blues with contemporary Pop melodies and a dash of down right dirty Funk. Likened to acts as diverse as Cage the Elephant, Jamiroquai and Incubus, Arabella have a sound that is both fresh and accessible, with a live show that smacks of passion and energy.

Formed in the spring of 2008, the four members originally came together, solely to satisfy their shared need to 'get their blues on'. Soon however, as epic jams developed into more structured material and the group's varied influences and backgrounds were thrown into the melting pot, it became clear that they were onto something special.

Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength. Plying their trade across the country, the band seems to gain plaudits and fans wherever they play. Most recently a successful foray into the cut-throat Camden music scene at the renowned Dublin Castle and a slot at the UK's biggest student festival - Beach Break Live, have been the highlights of what is still a young touring career.
